Matthew Shiels2023-11-12I finally decided to bite the bullet after months of deliberations, to purchase a Gransfors Bruks large splitting axe. Instead of purchasing through the website I made the drive out to the store to try and have a look at the large splitting axe and the splitting maul and get a ‘feel’ for them. The guy who served me was fantastic - he ran through both, plus the shorter handled version of the splitting axe, to see what suited me. He even grabbed a few out of stock for me to look at which handle I liked the most. Honestly, well worth the 130 mile round trip! I’m sure after seeing the store I’ll be back for another axe in the next few months, as the stock was great. Additionally 10/10 on the guys rendition of gangsters paradise which was on the radio when I was in the store - pitch was spot on 👍

Shipping was very fast, well packed in recyclable packaging. So impressed to read about how this small business handles themselves, and happy to have been able to support them!
